Moods

Starting with Beam 0.30 it is possible to define moods. A mood is a change in layout based on what is playing. The rules for the moods are based on the same logic as the cortina-rules.

Access the moods settings from File->Moods.

Add or Edit a mood.

  • Name:¬†Name of the mood which will be displayed in the handling window.
  • Mood state: Define which state the mood shall be active in.
  • Mood order: The order of which the moods are applied. If two moods will affect the same song, the mood with the highest order (further down in the list in Moods) will be applied.
  • Finally define the rule at which it is active.

Changing background for milongas

  • Rule: %Genre ‘is’ milonga
  • Same layout as for all other songs
  • New background
